I think the 10" wheels still use similar diameter tires as what the 12s would have.
Scootertronics says : "X50i version has 12 inch wheels which from what we have seen and found while riding makes no difference in performance, or ride and most of all appearance"
Yet Viper Motorsports says : "The X50i Model uses the larger 12" Wheels and lower profile tires for performance on the street, as opposed to the X50 model using the 10" wheels and taller tires for off-road applications."
Given Scootertronics' reputation, I'd probably trust anyone but them. Plus I see pics of models with knobby tires and models with regular road tires.

Hi Brent Think i will go with Viper Motorsport's assessment as im well aware of scootertronics rep I still would go for the larger wheels with the low profile tires over the smaller wheel taller tire combo Thanks ever so much for all the info , it's most appreciated :thumb:  Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank

Taller tires are more stable , can handle more weight and faster speeds . My old 50 with 10s was stunt driving . My new one with 13s is surgical precision and very stable even in strong winds and highway speeds

Hank is it 130/60/13s ? That is a popular size and plenty of HP tires in the size and so cheap compared to 16s

Cycle Gear will mount and high speed balance for 20 but you have to R&R the wheels and take them to CG

My scoot with 3.5x10s were not balanced so it rode terrible and bounced . On the centerstand it had a half inch of wobble . My 16 inch the weights fell off as they are glued instead of hammered like a car . I had the front rebalanced for free and paid 20 to get the rear as well since he had to R&R and luckily it was not balanced right as I asked him to check it as is before he did with no weights and it was much smoother with less than a 1/16 of tire wobble .
My 13s are not balanced and wobble on the centerstand but do not going down the road or at least not as noticeable . When I put on a BBK I will get better tires to be safer at high speeds and rated up to 93 mph beyond what it will be able to do and balanced .
I found out a Harley shop in my area sells the balancing beads so I will check out the price and test on my 13s and make a thread after testing with the tires unbalanced that are already on it . Would like to retest after getting the tires balanced and compare the results against each other

I've found that good tires make a big difference in balancing without ever having them balanced. I use Michelins, Boppers and Pilots mostly, and just installing them vs stock and some Kendas I tried made a big difference. One of my scoots seems to have no vibration anywhere. It's pretty common to get a certain speed where you'll feel it, but it must be over 70MPH cause I've never felt it. Another with the same tires has just a slight vibration around 40, but nothing near what some stock tires have done. I did try Dynabeads, but didn't see where they did anything amazing. A real balance would be more effective I believe, but I've never had any of my wheels balanced.
