So I've been noticing that at night according to my speedometer I can get about an extra 5 mph during the day it tops out at 40 but at night I can push 45. Any ideas why. Lol

The only thing I can think of is cool air is more dense than hot air....so at night it makes more power.

Bingo!..they also do the same thing first thing in the morning before sun up....and the air warms.. WE ride ours all year up here in Michigan...even during winter if the roads are clear....It can be 5 degrees out..we wear snowmobile outfits and still ride. Ans just like your night ride...ours run faster and better due to the cold air....

yep colder drier air it may be a sign that you are on the rich side of your gaining that much at night
