I was wondering if anyone on this forum had any experience with them? The brakes on my keeway matrix sucks. They squeal all the time and I have this crappy Chinese abs system on there and it's pretty scary when braking hard. The reason I ask is there are so many calipers to choose from and I was wondering if there were any issues with the stage 6 caliper. I know I can't use the 280mm rotor so I'm planning to use my stock one and to bypass the abs system by using a goodridge stainless brake line. Any feedback would be great

so i pulled the trigger anyways, i have installed the stage 6 caliper. on a keeway matrix, you are going to have to modify the stage 6 bracket by cutting them down a bit with a lathe. (i have a stock rotor) i cant do full review yet because i havent changed the brake lines to the stainless ones yet, so it s a bit mushy, i have a feeling that when i change the lines to stainless they will feel a bit better. the most important thing for me though is that the brakes dont squeal anymore. and it looks beefy. i got the gray color caliper to make it more stealthy. i'm not sure if scooters are the same way but because i have bigger brakes with more pistons do i have to upgrade the brake cylinder? i know on cars, depending what kind of brake setup you have. you also have to change the master cylinder.

So I finally broke in the pads, and I have to say this was probably the best mod I have done to the scooter. It stops on a dime, literally. I was not paying attention one day and the cars in front of me stopped suddenly. I hit the brakes and I almost did an endo. The scooter dug in so hard the fender rubbed on the tire and shredded some of it off. After the brake in the brake feel got a lot better. Can't wait for the braided line to be installed. This is a must for any scooter. It was well worth $300.

Sorry no one had any experience for you, but thank you for sharing yours. I just don't put a lot of thought into my brakes sometimes, until it's too late.

Could you possibly post some photos of what you did? Id love to install a better brake caliper on my 10inch rim because of all my performance upgrades and id love to stop a bit quicker
