Hi, all. Just bought 3 scoots for the family to get around the beach coast in Michigan and North Carolina. 2 are new Tao Tao,I bought my peace sport 50cc used 1,400 km. I am a avid machinist/tool die/mechanic. So I need to hop it UP. I got the Scrappy dog 52mm BBK And I will probb. relieve the stock head around a 52mm Dia. a bit to keep the compression down. Other than that its getting a uni pod air filter and polygon rollers, maybe cut the muffler can and gut. Should I re jet the stock carb or go with a keihen stock size or scrappy dog 23mm carb? Any ideas :help: Is a perf. cam worth it. I dont think I need the big valve head, its just for mild use. Also all the 52mm bbk seem to have a fully machined piston top not just cast with the 2 cut valve reliefs like 50mm and under, Is it a better piston?
