Well I'm looking for a second scoot to enjoy with my girlfriend. I really like the mc-d12 with 16inch wheels, duel disk breaks and its says it has many Twain parts like the carb and an ngk plug. Also liked a similar looking puma scoot ,just cant seem to find a reliable site to order one from. I found superiorpowersports.com,they kinda looked good, and the scooter comes assembled, but once i did some research, there's way too many bad reviews. But it seems that way with all sites!! Please someone point me in the rite direction, :sos: I'm not worried about putting it together, but it would be nice to have it come assembled. I'm starting to think the 2k price tag at the dealer wasn't so bad,and you just drive it out,wit a real warranty.Maybe i can chew him dawn by throwing allitle cash in his face. The mc-d12 is like 2k at the dealer without haggeling and 1300 online,so even if i could get it for 1600/1700 at the dealer, that might be the best way to go. i just don't know,i still rather save the money and order it myself if possible any input would be great, thanks allot, happy riding to all,be safe

I have heard many horror stories from online orders . I only bought from a local dealer as we have several here but only one I trust and patron . CFMoto makes Glory and ECharm with EFI ( some Echarms have a carb ) , liquid cooling , discs F&R and a 2 year unlimited FULL warranty . With EFI its like a turbo as its so much faster than any GY^ with a carb . The Echarm is great except when going over 65 mph its unstable from there to 75 mph . It has plent of power to go up a steep hill at 60 mph with a passenger . The Glory has 14 in wheels plus a neat LCd dash. I also have a Jonway Rock Thunder like this model www.jonway.com/Explorer-.html it has a radio with mp3 adapter , keyless remote starter , hazard lights , alarm , 16 in wheels with F&R disc brakes and a tachometr with 10,000 redline . The Jonway is by far way more easier to ride and stable at any speed and not as strong as the Echarm but 100 lbs lighter . My Echarm feels like a tank after riding it . The Jonway has wider handle bars and a way more comfy seat and pleasurable ride . They retail 1300+ and already have a grill to hold a radiator in case you wanted to put on a liquid cooled 150 , 250 or 300 . It has the same wheels and tires as my Echarm but I am always at ease on it at any speed where the Echarm has scared me several times with the wimpy suspension . The CFMotos headlights are battery powered instead of by the stator so they are always bright and do not dim at low rpms like most . The Echarm has folding metal passenger pegs , a parking brake under the seat locks the rear wheel and disables ignition . They also have a kill switch in the kickstand that kills ignition , fuel pump the starter . The brakes are perfect and I only use them to stop and use the tranny drag in the cvt to slow down . They also do not have a kickstarter . I asked my dealer why not . He said because its made so good it does not need one like his truck did not have a kick start ether lol . The Glory does not have the high speed eeek eek but 14 inch wheels which to me are better suited for a short wheel base even though its a longcase which is longer than some other ones . I like how a 16 inch scooter I can sit up right in comfort where my old 50 with 10s I had to slump as being 6ft3 I was too tall for it . I went with a friend to get a scooter and he bought a Jonway Rock Thunder and asked me to ride it home for him since we were in a car . I liked it so much I pulled over and asked my dealer to order me a blue one since all of my scooters are blue and I like that color . My dealer sells many brands and models but the Rock Thunders are sold as fast as they can uncrate and PDI them . Should you get one the mentioned above or another 16 inch scooter get Pirelli MT75 tires that were made for a Buell Blast it will ride better and be safer than the Cheng Shin tires . I only know about 3 Jonways , my friends , mine like his and my Jonway Magnum which is a 2T 49cc and I have no complaints and very happy with both of them . My friend did knock the ring out from around the key hole and I could not get it to click back in place as I was not wanting to break it . He uses the remote instead of the key and only uses the key to lock the steering . He drinks so I think he may have done something after drinking as mine is intact . The radio can be heard at 55mph with a full face helmet on and is decent but no Alpine

If the local dealer is a place that sells other things and happens to have scooters too, see if you can find any reviews of them or maybe before you talk to them about buying just go in and ask about ordering a carb or a belt or how long it would take to get in for service. There is a store a couple of miles from me that sells lawn equipment, feed, and got into scooters when they got popular. They sell some nice stuff, but from the reviews I've heard from people that bought there they are kinda useless for real support. One guy had a GY6 50 and they told him they couldn't find a belt for it and it would probably be hard to get anywhere. Was a 669, most common belt. The other guy I talked to said when he tried to get a service appointment he was told there was about a 30 day backup. Basically the mechanic is there to work on tractors and such and they really aren't too concerned with supporting their scooter sales as I understand it. So just make sure it's not some deal like that if you want a real warranty. Heck, I bought my first scoot from a scooter, ATV, and small motorcycle dealer and the rear brake shoes were out of round. I took it back to get them to fix it. The mechanic turned the rear brake adjusting nut out so it really didn't work and called it fixed. Local shops can suck too.
Not sure where to tell you online. Read all the reviews you can and try to remember when reading reviews that you wanna look for actual dealer and support info. Some reviews I've read of sellers are more like people mad about Chinese quality than displeased with the dealer. If you buy Chinese and think it should be top notch, that's no the dealers fault.

Qlink and CF MOTO dealers are scattered pretty much everywhere locally to most people so if you can find one of those go for it because they are going to be the best at support and quality control is about as good as it gets in the china market.
