Do you use any kind of locks or security devices?
"Detective owners are asking moped owners to write down the serial numbers on their vehicles, and to take pictures of their mopeds, as well as lock them securely when parking."
If any of my scooters ever got stolen I bet they'd think I was kidding when I said I have 1,000 pics of it showing about every part.

LOL, yeah your scoots are well known! I've got mine disc locked, U-locked through the fork, and a chain between the wheels every night. Adding extra security of another chain to the tree next to my usual parking spot today also. Since I've been riding, some of my neighbors have been asking everything about the scooter, showing a real interest to get on one themselves, but with nothing "proper" in our complex to secure to, they're concerned. Maybe with this news special and neighbors riding, we can get together and get a parking solution done.

It sure sounds like you're doing your best to deter theft though. Wouldn't be worth all the effort to cut all that stuff, I wouldn't think, when there are plenty around the city unsecured.

I guess I'm a little paranoid lol, it's my baby. I guess I'll be even more paranoid once it's stretched, engine built and everything tuned, and the paint work is complete.....I'll be sitting in a dark corner of my balcony in a rocking chair with the ZK-22 from Sons of Guns LOL
