Cheap StorageIt seems like scooter riders are always looking for ways to carry more stuff. Scooter trunks, baskets, and bungee nets are all great, but there is a super cheap way to up the carrying capacity of a scooter. Reusable shopping bags are a great addition to any scooterist's arsenal. Plastic bags work alright in some cases, but the reusable bags are stronger and they don't make loud flapping noises in the wind. Tote bags would serve the same purpose, but you can't beat the price of reusable shopping bags. I purchased the 3 bags shown from Food Lion for $2.67, or $0.89 each. Giant Food sells bags for $0.99 each, Acme sells them for $1.99 each. Prices may vary. Many other gorcery and shopping chains offer similar products. These bags can easily be hung over the handlebars on many scooters. Be sure not to impede your ability to control your scooter. As you can see in the images below, the bags work especially well on scooters with bare handlebars.
