You know the sockets on the Vento Triton scooter suck and I got tired of trying to get it to stay on without sticking wooden match sticks and stuff in the socket to hold the bulb still, so I did something abnormal - I put a goofy light on there that my son loves. It's not just the Triton. I have never liked any of the housings on my scoots and I had other customers tell me the same thing and fixed one for someone else. I put in a socket from NAPA once, it's in the tech area, and that messed up over time. These scooters make so much vibration it's hard on that kinda stuff and it makes us lose nuts and bolts and all that. I just posted in my Project 90 thread not long ago about how I had ruined an LED assembly that I haven't even had long from vibration.

I was thinking the eyes and the teeth would show up more. Like a roaring tiger. It just looks like any other light pretty much. I still like it. It looks cool in the daylight. It's cartoony, whimsical. Maybe if you paint a light coat of black on everything but the eyes and teeth it would look more menacing? |
