Ok now we have a "good starters" thread going about which are better upgrades for starters, so how about something on which CDI units and coils (not performance/racing models) that those who bought them have found are a better quality UPGRADE which works better, and lasts longer than the we all know they are-cheap and prone to early failures- factory installed CDI and coils?
What is good is to get a bunch of tried and true brands/types listed here, and to suggest them for the basic new scooter PDI we all did when we replaced the cheap torch plug, fuel hoses, tires etc.
