Ok, ok. So I was thinking. Buy a section of exhaust quality pipe slightly wider than a typical scooter pipe and weld the wide-band air/fuel meter sensor in the pipe. Then secure the pipe to the exhaust of the scooter being careful to make sure there are no exhaust leaks. So as long as it doesn't matter where in the exhaust the sensor is mounted, the sensor would be about 1 foot into the pipe due to the extra pipe.
