im not getting any spark i was before i changed my rings.. i don't know what i did to change anything. is there a way to check for power to the coil from the cdi?

did you put the ground back on the valve cover?

i have power going into the cdi but none coming out.... i have two cdi's and doing the same thing with both

Well if your sure everythings connected correctly, I guess its possible somthing went bad on ya. Its a long shot but make sure you didnt move the sensor by the flywheel.

Ok, so you got two wires coming out of your stator you want to be concerned with: they are in the single bullet connectors (while your charging system is in the plug). First, make sure you haven't swapped those bullet connectors around, then to check for output, the blue/white wire is from the ignition trigger, and generates .5V (use an oscilloscope to check/measure), the other wire (in a bullet connector) is for your CDI/coil and you should see about 65V at crank over. There is a quick wiring diagram about 1/2 way down this page: www.chinesescooterreference.com/manuals_charts.htm*REMEMBERING* many scooters have a no start safety switch hooked to the side stand.
