I had a people 50 2T in the shop a week or so ago. It wouldn't idle so I cleaned the carb and tried playing with the screws and I got it to idle and run but only when it was hot. When cold it ran like crap. The auto enricher seemed to be working when I checked it. Anyway, I cleaned the carb two more times with no change. I returned it to the customer and he liked the way it ran once it got hot but he called me yesterday saying it left him stranded now it won't run at all. I didn't take pictures of the carb so I can't remember exactly what the carb looked like. Will this carb fit/work on the people 50? www.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-Honda-DIO-SA50-SYM-DIO-KYMCO-ZX-Scooter-Carb?item=170597033027&cmd=ViewItem It has a tube going into the slide chamber. Is that for vacuum?

I bought an SA50 a while back. It's a wierd place for it to go but that tube going into the slide chamber is the oil injection line. If the existing carb looks like that one I see no reason it shouldn't work. Hondas and Kymcos are closely related. Others may have better advise.

It looks pretty close except the stock carb had studs sticking out instead of holes for mounting but I'm sure a couple bolts will work fine. Oil injection line. Hmmn... I guess it makes the slide slide real smooth.

It may be a way of delivering a heavier supply of oil as the slide is pilled upward. Kinda makes sense to me anyway....
