So as you know if you read the builds section lately, Venny was sold. I picked up not one but 2 running and decent looking QM50QT 6-A scoots for $550 for the pair, both from different local sellers who had no idea why they cranked but wouldn't go anywhere. They're both the exact same and with the same issue! Both are already fixed, the simplest of things, both had the belts snap, and the original owners tried to replace. One succeeded in getting the belt and variator back together, but somehow put the roller weights in sideways. the other lost the variator guide clips, and all the weights were turned sideways. He couldn't get the nut off to take the drive face off. 1600 miles on one, 3400 on the other. I know now, why everyone raves about 2T scoots! these are a little relaxed on acceleration compared to Venny, but do they ever sip the gas, and they're quiet. Oh well, one got flipped after everything was gone over and all fluids changed, I'm keeping one to build for fun. All in all, I only spent $50 for a new scoot! I'll get a new build page going, or just add it on to the old one I was doing, and maybe someone can help me come up with a name for this thing once it's done! The second scoot I kept is just like this one, except red

Excellent deals. Even though I have 2T oil in my blood and I emit a puff of smoke when I break wind... the 4Ts can be pretty cool. It's hard to argue with a gas sipper and if you put the right pipe one one they do have a nice deep sound. Now I guess you just gotta figure out how big of a big bore you want. ;D
