Estes model rocket engines in a tube work fine for that too. Careful u don't hit the wrong button in the garage though!

That's a really cool idea, not sure about the legality of it, but I guess as long as you don't have to honk at a cop you'll prob be fine. Would be especially effective at night. Not sure if those are bright enough to draw a lot of attention in the day?

PRetty sure that yellow would have no legal issues as work vehicles use yellow strobes for warning. white would prolly not be an issue in the headlamp, but red in the tail lamp is illegal (along with blue, thats for firemen here) but amber would be fin in a turn signal assy. or even all turn signals be like super 4 way flashers. there we go thats how to do it. light it like a garbage truck! in the turn lamps you could see them 360degrees instead of focused forward in the headlamp.
i'll take photos of the work and keep everyone posted.
