hey guys i recently purchased a QT-3 72cc factory scooter still in the crate from a member of this website '1FASTQMB' The scooter took 7 business days to get from california to my house on the east side. He was kind enough to give me one phone call because i asked him to call me before i purchased the scooter. He gave me the run down and told me what would happen. He is very fast with replys but some times the answers are vague. Upon arrival of the scooter i notice a few minor things missing/problems. One of the rack bolts isnt long enough and doesn't fit in the hole The center kick stand spring was missing img855.imageshack.us/img855/6815/1001068km.jpg[/img] A rear orange circle reflector was missing A pretty good sized scratch on the left side of the plastics. Battery Does not sit 'flush' in compartment I told him it was missing things and he said he would send them to me. All in all its been an experience for me, but i dont think i will ever buy another crate scooter online. Nothing against online dealers but ill just go to a dealership so i can see what i am purchasing before i purchase it

sorry to here that it is very disappointing to spend so much money and have this issues but from what i can tell it is just part of the Chinese scooter scene at least he is trying to make it right unlike so many other dealers that dont :swear:

Yeah, not for nothin', but I've never heard about a smooth online buy. However, unlike most online dealers, it seems like there's actual communication from 1fastqmb. Most places I hear about, they'll *maybe* talk to you until the credit card gets authorized. Then, they don't want to know anything about you. So far, 1fastqmb is heads and shoulders above any other online dealer.
As far as going to a dealership - that's why I just bought a reliable used one off of 2strokd on this forum. I could go see it and I knew what I was getting into before I bought it. And... I didn't have to worry about the issues that you discussed. For me? I'd have to be reeeeeally in love with a scooter to buy online.
Keep us posted to see if you get resolution to your issues.

That one is in much better shape than most of the ones i get. And you actually had 2 out of the 3 rack bolts....most of the time they are not there at all.

ya i know its nothing that 1fastqmb did directly, i realize he had these shipped 3rd party and its not gonna be perfect, but thats why i said it was an experience for me it was the first time i ever had anything like that shipped to my house and its the first time i spent that much money on something that wasn't a car! i guess i just expected everything to be perfect for $950, but i understand the fault should not rest on the shoulders of the dealer.

Most places I hear about, they'll *maybe* talk to you until the credit card gets authorized. If I can play devils advocate here for a minute.....Its hard to talk to people who do not know one end of a screw driver from the other. It is very rare to get questions from experienced mechanics where the answer is easy and they will understand it. Most of the time questions come from people who have no mechanical experience whatsoever and are trying to do their own work. It took me almost 25 years of hard work to gain the experience I have and I am a busy person so I do not have time frankly to give detailed installation instructions to every person who buys a spark plug but doesnt know how to put it in. However, I do know what it is like to be frustrated and need a little guidance so I try to be helpful.

thats understandable, if they just buy a spark plug from you then that would be a waste of time to give them detailed instructions. A whole scooter on the other hand is a whole nother ball field so thank you for being responsive
