oil pressure/temp sender location

under the fan shrouds on the lower right of the case there is a brass plug that is directly in the oil galley from the pump. I am thinking this would be the place to drill and tap for an oil pressure and/or temp sender. the drawback is its inside the fan shroud and if the sending unit used was too big it would block airflow to the cylinder possibly creating a hot spot.

i think your right. looking at the inside of the case, it looks like ther are two spots you could use
