alright i am wanting to get a bore and i found a 50mm cylinder kit do i have to buy the head to match or can i just use stock i have a leo vince uni filter an 88 jet

its best to get a bore matched head. an 88 is too small for a 50mm bore. a 95 ususally works perfect with a stock cam and stock size valves.

the gain is compression being low enough so that the starter will turn the motor

that whole kit from robotech? you may need an additional base gasket with that kit because sometimes the piston will hit the head......and be sure to check the oil ring gaps they should not be over .020"...because if they are it will smoke like a train

I got the same kit and the oil rings gaps where to wide I just sent them a message and they sent me a new set of rings that worked
I also had to add a base gasket
