I have a chance to pick up 2 of these (Honda Elite) for 500. they have the engines apart and I'm sure need some work..but...what do you folks think??? are these good scoots??? I'll just repair them and sell them..think people want a scoot like these??..just looking for some opinions.....thanks...

Though a "dated" design ....... they are fine scoots.
You may want to re-think the price though. Locally folks seem to ask about $700-$900 FOR THEM IN GOOD CONDITION (running, without plastic damage, good tires, etc). I *suspect* they sell for closer to $500, maybe less, and take a while to sell.
The appearance is "dated", and not the current "racy" look, and the front brake is a drum brake.
You can build the engine out to 125cc though!
I would expect, for 2 in pieces (with titles), to pay no more than $200 ($100 each), and have one myself, that I am working on, when I get the time.
