Also in Manchester and looking for people to ride/ hang with and talk scooters. Have an 86 Suzuki FA50, just put in a new battery and I have no power, does anyone have any ideas? Fuse off battery is fine. Should lights work or do they only work when engine is running? Please help

Don't know specifically for your model, but with most small scooters the headlights and often tail light will not operate unless the engine is running. What do you mean fuse off? Without a fuse you'll get no power. Connecting without a fuse is not a good idea because if something has caused the fuse to blow you it can potentially ruin whatever is the next weakest link on the scooter or cause a lot of heat and be a potential fire hazard.

No the fuse coming off the battery is fine. I just replaced the ignition and battery and I have no power and no spark. the ignition is just a plug and play. theres no way to hook it up wrong. Wondering if you have any suggestions?

Verify that you have power to the ignition switch and that when on it transfers through the switch. You may also want to make sure that when the switch is on there is not a ground passing through two of the wires or that there is no continuity between the terminals that aren't batt power and switched batt power. Not sure what colors they'd be for you, but black and black/white or dark green are common for the kill switch part of the ign. Red and red/white or pink are common for the batt power part.

hey guys and girls. I'm new to this whole scooter a ay of living haha..I have a question regarding the "moped license" law in nh..I do not have a valid driver's license because of 3 dues in Massachusetts years ago and still need to wait for my license to be reinstated and all the stuff that comes with it..just purchased a Bullet25 49cc and was curious if anyone out the knows about the stipulations in New Hampshire regarding if I'm even eligible for a moped license with the dues. Thanks and sorry for such a long "introduction" to my conundrum
