I'm working on a 2007 Redstreak Metro Retro scooter. The padding has come completely off of one of the front shoes. I can't seem to find these sized shoes anywhere. The shoes are 90mm (3.5") diameter from pad to pad and about 90mm from top to bottom (metal to metal). All shoes I am finding are the rear and larger 4.25" shoes. Has anybody bought these or know where to get them?

Shoes off, springs still in place. Just like they are pictured everywhere. They are small. Much smaller than the regular 4.25 rear brakes found in almost everything. I did see those at parts4chinesescoots but I was hesitant because there were no dimensions. I'll have to contact them and ask.

I've dealt with them in the past and they were cool on the phone and the guy seemed very knowledgeable.
Good luck! I hope those are the ones.

I hope they are the right shoes too. I'm crossing my fingers and ordering. He couldn't give me a diameter but said they are definitely smaller then the normal 4 stroke rear shoes. The only shoes smaller than the regular 4.25" that I know of are the fronts on this retro and the older qing qi and Geely front shoes which I believe are 3".

If You do not have a part number then the best thing to do is to take the hub and the brake shoe assembly to Your local clutch and brake shop to have the shoes re-bonded a good idea because they can check the hub for run out and skim the hub to perfect, then re-bond the shoes to fit ,I had a problem with a hub that was out of round causing the brakes to lock on a wet road dangerous when it's the front wheel.

I might end up having to do that. I got the shoes from Partsforchinesescooters today. Wrong size. They are like 4.1" diameter. I had no idea front shoes would be this hard to get.
