Baja sc50 electrical short?

Ok so the scooter was running fine a week ago, went to start it the other day and nothing.. Checked the battery and its fine, and it will kick start.. But no taillights, turn signals or starter switch.. I checked the fuse and it was bad, replaced ir, drove a cpl hundred feet, and it popped another fuse... I'm pretty sure its a short somewhere.. My question is how do I race where it is and fix it? Thanks in advance and any help would be greatly appreciated..

Could be a bad regulator/rectifier. They are cheap. Order/buy one like yours and try it. It might solve the issue. maybe not but it's worth a try. Easier than tearing apart the entire wiring harness.

I found out what was wrong... Sorry I didnt get online today but we found it yesterday.. It was the turn signal flasher.. It had bare wires that were shorting out the system.. Replaced it with a new one, and now no more problems.. Thanks for the tips guys
