Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum as well as being a scooter owner. I just purchased a Chinese scooter with a 50cc, for my 5.5 mile commute to work and to put around Tampa.
My question is, how do I know if my scooter has 64mm or 69mm valves?
Also would a stiffer torque spring combined with clutch springs and lighter variator weights result in quicker acceleration times?
Thanks, Blake.
p.s. I am a person with a small build (about 160lbs)

the valve cover on a 69mm valve engine is taller than the 64mm. 69mm is also way less common. it would help to know the make.....or some pictures of it.
i would not change the springs....lighter weights alone help takeoff

I'm planning on a 50mm BBK soon but until then I wanna mod the CVT for better drivability and performance.

Try adjusting roller weight before messing with everything.
