Snapper Ratchet Clamps

I love these things. I found a local home improvement store that has these. They're limited to a pretty small range of adjustment for the diameter they are designed for so you must know the diameter of the hose you are clamping. They are easily released with the flick of a straight screw driver and merely squeezed between thumb and middle or index finger to set. Quick and easy. :riding:

i HATE!!! those things!!
they become very brittle and brake almost as soon as you touch them

For my app (carb front to hose from air filter) they work fine. They are made from several different plastics. The nylon ones may be more prone to becoming brittle in high heat areas???
