One you probably bought the ebay kit so 99.5% sure your oil rings are crap and causing blow by which makes smoke.
Two the metal is common since you just rebuilt the motor. that is why when you buy a new scooter you change the oil at 300 miles and you'll find metal happens in most if not all motors once you do a rebuild on head or bottom end wether it is 1 cylinder or 12
also you probably have a gap in between your head and jug due to the missing head bolt.
that loud banging is probably you piston kissing the head when it comes up ever so slightly which is a very common problem with the 100cc kit hence why you need to install the non metal gasket on the bottom of your jug to give it clearance.

Does anyone have an idea why is smokes so much? Always check the oil ring gaps when using a china kit. 1 in 10 chinese '100cc' 82cc 50mm kits will have oil rings with the gaps too wide and will smoke like a train. Always check the piston/head clearance. 1 in 10 chinese '100cc' 82cc 50mm kits will require an additional base gasket for piston/head clearance. Sounds like yours needed an additional base gasket when built. it now has a cracked piston. Replace piston and rings. Inspect the bore carefully you may need an entire top end now.

I'm pretty sure this guy is just trolling everyone. No doubt, cause no one is going to put in a BB kit, have a problem and then go "oh well, I'll run it till it blows up" but I like how the thread draws attention to the very real issues with these kits and what CAN happen, and underscores why I dislike these kits- because these kinds of issues DO happen.

I think from what I'm reading that I would take it down and start over, get new rings, piston clips, gasket, fix headbolt, get feeler guage and follow instructions!

Jerry, Clearwater Fl. you have probably cranked it by now but if not i would take the head off and put the piston at TDC see how much space you have between the top of the piston and cylinder deck, you may need a thick hoca base gasket or an additional stock one.
