Here's what I did to my Yasuni C16.
First I just extended the silencer by 10cm (26cm -> 36cm). It was little better but not enough. It was a bit restrictive also (smallest diameter 16mm).
Then I increased core diameter by 10mm (20mm -> 30mm).
Now it flows better and the sound is quieter and deeper. You can still hear it from mile away but it's not annoying loud anymore
