The Ducati 848 team that placed third was impressive. Prepped by two guys and friends in a tiny barn in OR. I hated to see the Melissa Paris go down and not get a top 10. Lots of wrecks and an interesting mix of bikes.

Had to suck when Aquino could do nothing but watch as fuel doused his bike. They handed him a rag and he looked around like WTH do you want me to do with this?

Had to suck when Aquino could do nothing but watch as fuel doused his bike. They handed him a rag and he looked around like WTH do you want me to do with this? That was kind of strange. I didn't really understand why he couldn't return to the race. Ed: I fell asleep (damned hops) for about laps 2-10 but I saw a replay of the incident as well as an interview of him.

They said they were afraid that fuel would be caught in the fairings or somewhere since they spilled so much and ignite when the bike was fired up. The interview I saw with him he just said about the same thing. He didn't really wanna catch fire.

Ah bike race fans, right on! I'm gonna watch my recording of this in a bit.
Do you guys follow World Superbike or MotoGP? I've been re-watching the o9 season while i wait for the new one to start.
