The Ducati 848 team that placed third was impressive. Prepped by two guys and friends in a tiny barn in OR. I hated to see the Melissa Paris go down and not get a top 10. Lots of wrecks and an interesting mix of bikes.

Had to suck when Aquino could do nothing but watch as fuel doused his bike. They handed him a rag and he looked around like WTH do you want me to do with this?

I didn't really understand why he couldn't return to the race. Ed: I fell asleep  (damned hops) for about laps 2-10 but I saw a replay of the incident as well as an interview of him. |

They said they were afraid that fuel would be caught in the fairings or somewhere since they spilled so much and ignite when the bike was fired up. The interview I saw with him he just said about the same thing. He didn't really wanna catch fire.

Ah bike race fans, right on! I'm gonna watch my recording of this in a bit.
Do you guys follow World Superbike or MotoGP? I've been re-watching the o9 season while i wait for the new one to start.
