All rollers will flat spot over time and those rollers are meant for tuning and not for full time use. I'd suggest trying out different rollers like Hoca, Dr Pulley, NCY, etc... that aren't a tuning set. I really like Dr Pulley sliders for long term use. They last longer than any rollers I've ever used by far.
One thing that will accelerate wear on any rollers or sliders is heat, so venting the cover can sometimes help extend roller life, as well as the belt and keeping the springs working better for longer.

+1 for Dr Pulley sliders! Replaced my factory 9g rollers with 8g sliders and got better acceleration and didn't lose any top end. JM
