saw one of these at the local Fleet Farm for 4 dollars... for me personally this is the way to do on the go premixing - its clean, compact and is easy to use. IMAG0785 by theo547, on Flickr IMAG0786 by theo547, on Flickr

But not so easy to use for a quick top off.
I use a 1 1/2 oz shampoo bottle with a straight screw on cap.
I use 1/4 oz for 1/10 gallon of gas. If gass is $3.40 a gallon, that's $.34 for 1/10th gallon, times 6(for 6•1/4 oz), is $2.04 for 6/10ths gallon.
Easy to carry and gass up anywhere.

I fill up at the pump first, so I see an exact amount of fuel. Trying to leave a small amount of room at the top for oil to go in, not topping all the way off. I've premixed at 50:1 for so long now that I know it's 2.6oz per gallon, but just in case I made a quick little table and printed it on some sticker paper and stuck that to the bottom of my seat on the scoot I use the most. I carry around AMSOil Saber Professional small bottles that are graduated in ounces. I set that on top of the pump so I can get a good level look and then pour a little in, shaking the scooter as I pour. Set the bottle back on the pump and recheck. Repeat as needed, shaking the scoot the whole time. I found that the thick AMSOil would settle to the bottom in a glob on occasion if I didn't shake as I poured. 2-3 times I had that happen and it caused heavy smoke and the scooter running poorly or dying on me shortly after the fill up. Then I had to try and figure out how much oil to add once I got it to clear up so I wasn't lean since part of it burned up quickly. I really don't have much trouble pre-mixing on the go. There are also these cards I used to carry : 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/396/pre-mixing-on
