I wish they were all that easy.
That procedure I posted before for installing the tensioner was for a 150cc. Yours is more like a 50cc. They are different as shown in this video.

I just unbolted the tensioner completely, never even unscrewed it. Bike ran great but felt sluggish so I pulled the timing cover on the flywheel and popped the top on the engine and found that while the timing marks on the flywheel were at TDC.......... The top cam marks were NOT at TDC........... Then 15 minutes later they were

Well, you could have too much tension on the chain now cause the plunger pops all the way out when you remove the tensioner. You're supposed to install it without the spring, plunger retracted and then lastly install the spring and cap.

By the way I think it did have a good bit more than it should because it was wanting to slightly stall when you first touch the gas last night after the change, but today after the retension it has been like brand new for the whole day riding. Love it.
