A friend of mine brought me over a tng venice Ls asked me to look at it see if i could get it to go faster then the 15-20mph he was getting out of it. The odom showed 9000 miles and it had been ridden hard. Every piece of plastic was cracked or missing. front brakes didn't work (broken glass on the hydro reservoir, and no keys. the only good thing was he had the title. so started into the 1e40fm engine. nasty scratches on the piston and cylinder. started looking around for replacement parts. found nothing. pm d autotech on ebay he no longer has compatible parts or bbks for this engine F*&k. So i tell my friend i will give him $100 for it with plans for a swap in the future. about 2 weeks ago i find a craigslist ad for a 2007 TNG Venice. ad said has not ran in a few years and no paperwork. $350. i called her up. she couldn't get it registered as the po didn't give her any paperwork on it. that po had bought it from a local scooter shop and never registered it. after a few days I traded her an old ipod touch for it. I forgot to take a pic before i dived in. I stripped the LS down to frame and forks. got the new plastics off the paperless one. started the painting process. and working out the non running issue. only needed the carb cleaned and all the fluids changed.
