Well heres the start to a drag project for this May at the TNG event in Brown County Indiana ;D. I was gonna use Skeedr 1 and try to keep the limits low so i could turn it back into a daily driver after the event. Now i dont have to worry about that . Here it is the day i brought it home Then yesterday i spent some time tearing it down a bit Gotta keep my butt in gear if its gonna get done and tuned good by the end of April. No pressure

I was working on the frame yesterday and thought of a way to make the stock motor mount "stops" adjustable. Hopefully for better launches? I started by pulling the spring and rubber boot outta the mount. It should slide right out with the help of some pliars or a flathead screwdriver. Then i dug these 3inch bolts outta my "nut and bolt box" and four nuts for the bolts. I also added threads to the bottom of the mount so the bolts can thread into the mount. The 14mm nuts i used fit right in the hole. I put one in each side. These could be welded for extra strength and security but im not for now. After that you should be able to thread the bolt through the mount and use the other nut to lock the bolt were you want.

Excellent idea! Simple, but gets the job done. This one's headed to the Tech Library.
I'd probably weld a nut to the bottom, as in the last pic, then use an extra nut for locking it in place. That would be easier than trying to weld inside the tube. This one's headed to the Tech Library.
