Looking for ideas on quite "stock" looking exhausts for a build. Something like the Leo Vince SP3, or the Leo Vince GP (preferred). The build will be a mild, torque based street DD 70cc. So far i have a complete ignition with lightweight aluminum flywheel and 8 charging coils. A Stage6 V-Force reedblock, 21mm Dello black clone (might go to 19mm?), and this airbox that will be going under the seat. www.racingplanetusa.com/airbox-racing-kartbox-p-2448-1.html?cPath=2948_21496_21506&sessID=3dd2aac67c02312aea2f440c6c7babfdIm not set on a cylinder yet either, so opinions there are welcome too Looking for something with low-end power, and good to around 9,-10,000RPM as i will be using a stock crank. I mainly am looking for links and suggestions on exhausts but all advice is welcome. This is all for my sons build. A 01 CPI Miskito . Skeedr,s brother As soon as we sell his Zip he wants to put the money into this build.

I,m doing a build with a, Leo GP. On my 2008 Zuma & a Stage 6 Sport MKII or a Street Race I will let you know how it goes. It will be a while, gotta make a hanger and reweld the header to fit my Wheel and Torsion arm.

My MMG is way louder and lost bottom end since unrestricted and did not build up back pressure but could hit 11,000 RPMs and zoomed on the top end . Leo Vince or Technigas have many street exhausts but many only support up to 8,500 . My stock exhaust it was 8,000 and would fizzle at 8,500 . Using the airbox cuts down on noise plus protects from rain where a K&N or Uni you would hear the air being sucked in more so .
Check out the link I posted above as it has more data than many vendors have own their own web page

Leo Vince zxr on a trophy 70cc setup. Pipe is only a bit louder than stock. ALSO only a little bit more perf than stock too :-) Despite the beautiful appearance this Leo V is NOT an expansion chamber.. period. Just a good looking medium quiet muffler. IF you expect power you ..Will.. be dissapointed .. as you should be.

Never thought I'd say this... but the noise was getting to me. I loves the performance of a race kit with a revy pipe. But when you try and ride with other's it can be problematic. So I pulled the MKI Cylinder off, Got over 3K on a stage 6 MKI race kit. It was way past Re-ring time any how. I threw on a Street race kit and the, Leo Vince GP. The only other changes I made were, w-7 needle. Upped the sliders too 46.5 Gr. & wht clutch springs @ 4500 engage'sment. It now is got a nice tone and gobs of torque. I haven't checked the top speed yet. But I sure it won't be what it was with the MKI. I am enjoying the low end pull and low noise. How long? We will see.

I have always thought the pipes with the muffler curved forward looked weird compared to those with the muffler pointing to the rear
