I bought some 10w 40 full synthetic four stroke motorcycle oil. Says it's good for air cooled and water cooled. Well this be ok for my brothers 72cc gy6 I'm putting together for him?

Specifically it's a Mobil one full racing synthetic. 10w 40

That's fine. You don't have to buy motorcycle oil though, since you don't have a wet clutch. Won't hurt anything, just not necessary.

I also run the mobil 1 full synthetic motorcycle 4T oil.. Cant hurt

10W40 Castrol or Valvoline in mine! Though the bike runs better with 15W40 in summer!

dont run synthetic from the start. break the motor in with conventional oil first for 500 miles.

I have heard this is a good idea too. As fully synthetic does not let the rings bed in aswell.
