FYI (MEK = Methyl ethyl ketone (butanone), a solvent, used also to weld some plastics) paint department at hardware store or at paint stores

anybody tried using JBweld on cracks? Didn't work well for me. I have used Loctite epoxy plastic bonder with good results.

I have had success with a gas powered soldiering iron and strips of and old panel to use as weld. I found it gives a better, stronger weld than using cable ties.

Used heavy guage staples with battery & gator clips to arc melt the staples into plastic then nip off ends to solid up crack , then use solder gun to melt the crack closed.. butt sometimes i like the franken stitch zip tie method for that mad max look!

Ive got some bondo fiberglass resin and fiberglass mesh left over from my car repair. That would adhere rigto the plastic right? Mines all held together with black ducktape right now lol

The best thing for repairing your cracked plastic came from my wife actually. Acrylic from doing acrylic nails works amazing. File or dremel out a groove in the crack, mix the acrylic liquid and powder (follow the directions or ask your wife) and fill the crack in. Sand it flush and paint. Its cheap and very strong!
