I buy adjustable spring rear shocks for $35. They work just dandy for speeds under 90mph.
You tell me if you are wasting your money.............

I put some $400 adjustable air shock on a pocketbike years ago (basically because I'm a fatass and I bent the stock shock not meant for my weight, so I went overkill). Not sure how the Doppler is, but mine could be adjusted to exactly how you want it with a couple different air pressure adjustments and rebound settings. It was kinda nice, but I honestly wished I had spent $50 on a normal adjustable shock after I had it. It was about as nice as they get, and still not worth a lot of expense IMO. Maybe it's different if you're a really good rider and race competitively or if you just MUST have that clean look and money is no object. Otherwise, you'll prob be happy with a cheaper shock/spring.
I should note with my opinion on this type of thing... I'm not a Zuma/Ruckus fellow that sees a $10,000 scooter as the norm. Only way I'll spend much is if it makes it fast.

I wish that shock came in black or white, I'd be all over it. For me suspension is not a place to cheap out I run a high end suspension on my Yamaha banshee and its the single best mod i've done.

Pics and maybe a short vid of the shock in action.
Maybe sit on the scoot and bounce your weight on it a bit so we can see how it reacts.
Also I hear that it is adjustable with a pump of sorts.

I'll see what I can do.... And yes I bought the pump to adjust the shock as well. I did a lot of research on this shock and read nothing but good things, I guess time will tell. I can't see myself riding for a cople of months as its cold as balls there.

I had one of those on my Ruckus. Pretty nice shock but I traded it in for a Racingbros.
