I have a keeway matrix, minarelli copy. Currently I have a 17,5 delly carb, polini sport, zxr exhaust, I got about 2k miles on this motor and looking to upgrade to the stage 6 mkii, what would be the best setup money can buy? I heard some good things about windjammer and yasuni exhausts? Any suggestions?

With a 2T jetting is picky and very important to avoid being lean and having a soft seize . a free flow exhaust with restricted head may not give you desired results since you may need to port the head . On my stock engine the port was a D shape instead of an O . Replace the metal reeds with FG or CF can help . I use NGKBr8HIX sparkplugs with Motul 710 full synthetic 2T oil . NEVER use weedeater oil and it is worth the extra to get at least decent 2T oil . Mine came with a 19mm TK carb with 68 main jet and I put in a 75 and it ran better . I put in a racing CDI which helped takeoff but did nothing on top end since the head and exhaust was restricted to 8,000 RPMs . I now have a 72cc BBK with MMG pipe and Uni airfilter . I lost some take off since the free flow does not allow pressure to build up in the pipe but top end and RPMs are way more . Drawback is it is so loud it has exhoed and made my ears rings as I sound like a cross between a weedeater and a motorcross bike . A HP exhaust you will need to have a few main jets to test out until you have the jetting dialed in . Now I put on a Uni vent cover which is smaller than the big red airfilter and used a 90 main jet and wow it had more power on the bottom end and midrange . I later put on the correct Uni it had some bog but not bad and soft seized with the sparkplug becoming welded together . NEVER ride a 2T that has bog . I took off the air box cover just to see how it would run and it bogged so bad I did not get off of my driveway . Here is great write up of 2T exhausts . If you have the money pipes made by Leo Vince are a lot better than most . 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=exhausted&action=display&thread=1391

Great report I decided to go with Stage6 myself over Athena . a 17.5 is small for a 72cc the power kits come with a 21mm PWK carb

MKII sport pro cylinder kit/ Stage 6 hpc crank/ MKII clutch/MKII clutch bell/stage 6 24mm carb/Stage 6 overrange variator kit with belt/ and final gears just my opinion. A few other odds and ends but that is the majority of it

So... Have you ordered/received the Stage6 Sport Pro MKII yet?
I have one, but it isn't installed at the moment. Needs a new piston. (long story)
You will not be disappointed with it. As long as you get a pipe that will let it rev to 10,000+. :burnout:
Stage6 MKII + Stage6 Pro Rep pipe + 21mm Dellorto PHGB = 70mph!!! :riding:
If you have the cash to get the Yasuni C20... It will rev even higher. Probably won't last long at 12,000rpm, but it will be hella fun while it does.
Keep us updated on the build.
