Disconnect the negative battery terminal before you begin. Locate the ignition coil and remove any panels necessary to access it. Remove the 2 bolts attaching the coil to the frame. Take note of any grounds that may be connected to a bolt. Disconnect the spark plug boot. Disconnect the signal wire and remove the coil. Plug the signal wire into the new coil. Connect the spark plug wire to the spark plug. Make sure the wire is routed in a way that it is protected from any hot or moving parts. Bolt the ignition coil onto it's bracket. If there was a ground attached before, don't forget to re-attach it. Tie up your wiring and make sure your engine runs. If you've got spark, re-install your panels.
