Okay, first off I have the mechanical aptitude of a rock. So please, nothing too technical. I have a Baccia Speedy 50 which is a 49cc Minereli motor, I believe. It was running fine until two days ago when out of the blue she starts stalling on me. Not a lose power stall like running out of gas, but click it's off like you turned it off with the key. From there it doesn't matter what adjustments I make to the carb, when I get it restarted it runs for a bit then stalls out again. Right after it stalls it will restart but then stall again before you get rev up the motor. Any ideas? Really would appreciate any advice given. I'm not really as lame as I suggest, really I'm not

Is it dying at speed or at idle or... ? Wide open throttle or randomly?

At idle. When moving she stays running.

I would start by cleaning the carburetor. Get all passages with carb cleaner and compressed air and make sure the jets are clear as well.

just about any 2 stroke issue start with brand new plug clean the air filter clean the carb and make sure the carb is properly attached to the intake and the air box is properly attached to the carb

Does it do this once warmed up or just when its cold ? I have to adjust the idle speed with change of seasons . The holes in an idle jet are tiny and easy to clog . A hole or crack in the airbox , its tubing or the intake will make it not idle good . I use Seafoam to keep the fuel system clean . A NGK BR8HIX sparkplug will help it run at its best . A size or two up in IJ may help but too big may flood it

I cannot find any air leaks going in, except I note my low speed screw on the carb looks moist as though fuel (very little ) is able to pass. Is there an "o" ring on the inside end of this screw that could be causing the issue?
