I have a Chinese Jog clone: BBK, expansion chamber pipe, OKO 28mm Flat slide carb, coil, new plug, upgraded reeds plus all the CVT you can do.
Problem: bike will not start unless im on the throttle, it does run like a scalded dog WOT. dies when coming to stop and has a REALLY hard time starting.
I have taken the entire engine apart, fuel lines, vacuum lines, carb and made sure everything is sealing good, no cracks in any lines. after i put it all back together it will start and idle but as soon as i ride it back to the same old sh** WONT IDLE and its SUUUPPPPPPPERR boggy on the bottom end.
i have tried changing both pilot and main jets going up and down in size and playing with the air screw. nothing seems to help.
currently I have: 38,48 and 50 pilot jets and 122,128 and 130 main jets.
i'mat sea level and the temp never changes more than 70-85 degrees in Hawaii sooo....
WTH?!
ANYONE?

For one thing, the big carb amplifies your tuning headaches.
Sounds like you need to work with the pilot/air screw more, and probably the needle or needle setting as well. Since you say it runs well WOT, perhaps start by making sure that's dialed in the best you can get it. You may need more jets to get it just right. Then work with the other settings.

The needle should have a clip on it and multiple grooves. If you move the clip up it will lower the needle and lean out the part throttle mixture more. If you move the clip down it will raise the needle and richen the part throttle mixture.

Make the needle clip higher to the top. 4th or 5th clip will get you leaner. Your needle will go deeper in the carburetor fuel bowl.

So now I'm having another issue, got it running after adjusting the needle farther down but the damn needle won't stay seated!! It keeps coming up this causing the bike to bog out

You are missing something then. There is supposed to be a little metal, or plastic clip that holds the needle seated in the slide. Without this it will move freely. Good thing you had the c-clip on or it could have ended up in the engine?
