I agree with Kevin also. I am a grandpa and even if it was quiet they will still love it, trust me on this.

Hi again...just added my pod filter, super easy. JUST the performance and noise I was looking for. I also have my jet set, but haven't tinkered with changing and finding the right one yet. Now for my stupid questions...I was able to scoot around, lotta zip, ran great, haven't done any jet work, BUT the choke was partially engaged when I did this test run..Is that normal? I know more fuel etc. but should I try changing jets? Can I drive it w/ the choke part open with the same jet effect? The history of this scooter and parts, quite puzzling, what if none of these jets work? Please, just some input....thanks,,,,Bob

I would re-jet the carb or you risk the motor burning up

Rejetting is the proper way.

Better to start with a too big jet, then work down. Better safe than sorry

Thank you...but things aren't going well. Today I removed the carb, then the bad news begins, none of the main jets fit [kevin, are you out there? think you were right!]. As w/ everything else regarding this scooter nothing matches, the info posted apparently doesn't match this carb?? Here is every number and letter legible on this carb: 05-05M; 9(not sure, very faint)014 and 369 underneath; LB logo--LIPPO with a 2 in a hex shape. Main jet [can't read the size] but comparing with the set using a magnifier, I believe a 68, the 70 and 72 look a bit larger. Here are caliper dimensions on MY main jet:@ 9.02mm long, 4.87mm thread width, 5.97mm head width; Set Jets; @8mm long, 5.41mm thread width, 7.90mm head width. The only thing that looks like a match are thread size/pitch. Is it time for a another Scooter? another carb? put it back in the trash where I found it? Real shame, because when running with new pod filter and choke partially open...it scoots along great! ANY ANY help...PLEASE!!!....bobkat

Your measures are matching my ATV's Keihin CVK34 carburetor one (but mines are 8mm long), can you send me a picture of your Mainjet compared to one of those in the box, it might help !

ok...4am..can't sleep..i believe I have a qingqi geely [50cc,2t] carb. d1e41qmb. all pictures that I have compared and researched match almost identical. now, the question is, does all the info I sent before sound like it matches? and if so, are there jet sets available? I will send pictures later to verify...going to grab a few zzzzzzzz. thanks as usual, great forum....bobkat

On the pictures, your main jet is mostly the same as my Keihin CVK main jet. Mine is a little shorter on the head, but threads and other dimensions are the same. OEM jets are generally a little longer than the aftermarket ones (I don't know why btw) but Keihin CVK jets will fit. Mines are Keihin 6mm round jets. Same threads and, side to side with yours, they look the same.

That sounds optimistic...is there anyway I could return the main jet set [unused;new] purchased from you and replace it with main jets you recommend [size, jet#, etc]...a couple of bucks not an issue. If so, can we do it asap, please,...thanks again,,,,bobkat
