So i just got myself a great deal on a brand new NCY 52mm BBK, with a head to match. I was originally planning on a 72cc kit as i have read about issues spinning the main bearings when you go bigger, then again maybe thats people getting on it too hard too early. Either way i couldnt pass up the deal, but before i go putting it in i want to make sure i got a good setup. So im wondering, do i really need to get a new crank and bearings? I dont want a stroker, my BBK is enough for me with the other mods i got. If i need a better crank, what should i go with? Currently i got a 2012 Tao Tao atm50 with a new stock carb, 85 main jet with uni air filter, performance off brand exhaust, and NCY transmission kit. I dont typically ride the hell out of it either, use it daily but im usually easy on the throttle. Sorry for the huge essay and thanks in advance for any help, im newer to the scooter world and come from cars so its all mew stuff to me.
