I Have a Yamaha Jog 2Ja (vertical engine) and the previous owner took out the rectifier/regulator along with the wires going to it. I bought a new one but dont know which terminals goes to the stator, battery and ground. Does anyone know where the upper right, upper left, lower right and lower left pins/terminals of the rectifier connect to?

Just found a wiring diagram for the rectifier for my scoot. As i was about to put the rectifier in, there was a really small device connected to the red wire(+ battery) and white(stator). I believe its a doide but not sure. It has a symbol of ->||<- . Is this stock to the jog?

Its not a fuse. Its a small 1cm cube like plastic coated, with two prongs with a symbol of two arrows facing each other with two vertical lines in between. I dont think its original to the scoot because it was soldered directly to the wires unlike original components which has removable terminal clips. When i got the scoot the rectifier was missing. The symbol on the thing are similar to a varactor diode.
