Do you think it's necessary to install a Performance Camshaft with a 72cc kit on my People S 50? I keep the original air box and exhaust. On Ebay it's hard to know if the camshaft they sold is a performance one or not!? I read some place they have camshaft A8 or A9, wich one is better??? Thank's!

You don't have to install a different cam with a big bore kit. It can help you make more power though, especially at higher revs. I believe the A9 would make more power than the A8 from simulations I've seen. I think the A8 may retain more low rev power, but the A9 should make more peak and extend the revs a little more. I have heard though that Chinese made cams can vary so the labels may not mean as much as they should.

You get the best results when you pair the cam with a big valve head, free flow filter, and performance exhaust they all work together and provide great performance i personally like the a9 cam from scrappys

I tried both A8, and A9. The A9 gave me 4mph gains, but I prefered the A8 with lower 2mph gain. The valves are louder with the performance cam, I like the A8 for the lower noise.
