Greetings, Still working on a 139QMB Schwinn Collegiate (Retro Style) I ordered this exhaust::: www.chinesepartswholesale.com/product_info.php?products_id=61243(BTW it was only $30!) So the pipe tube fits up there ok. But, the mounting bolt holes on the exhaust support are about 1/2" inch further, towards the rear. I suppose you fabricators out there with the "make it fit" attitude, is the answer. I attempted fitting the new exhaust multiple times. The old exhaust would fit back in fine. So I proceeded to try the new. No go. What gives? Are there two different sizes for 139QMB exhausts? I have never had a problem in the past 5 different pipes fitting. PS: The Schwinn Collegiate model is crazy. You have to take almost all the body panels off, just to get to the bolts on the exhaust. There are plates on the frame that prevent an extension to reach the bolts. Who designed this madness? Thanks yall!

AFAIK there should only be one type of exhaust fit for the GY6 50. Usually the trouble is some aftermarket pipes are angled too high for a retro style scoot or some pipes don't even include brackets. You could have just got one that's made wrong.
I suppose you could make sort of a bracket extension. Use aluminum or steel and make a plate that connects to the engine and pipe. If you can weld, then you may be able to cut 1/2" out of the straight portion of pipe before the muffler and weld it back together to make it fit.

Usually if you go to your local muffler shop the mechanics will most of the time help you out cheap if they are not to busy and they usually are not.
Just go in and ask if they can heat it up and get the right angle you need. Best bet is ride it there with as many panels that you can leave off of it and just let the other pipe cool down and hook up the new one in the bay, then they can heat it up while fitted to get the right angle.
Just throw the guy at the counter $5 for hooking you up with a tech(optional)
$10 should more than satisfy the tech for breaking out the torch for 5-10 minutes.

Wow. You stole that pipe! It's now back to 75.00. I have never seen a GY6 exhaust under 50.00, and on top of that, the shipping is rightfully on the high side. If you were me, for that price, I would get it to fit any way I can. LOL

Greetings, Thanks for replies. www.chinesepartswholesale.com is a great website. My buddy ordered hundreds of dollars from partsforscooters and chinesepartswholesale and has a dealer account on both websites. If you plan on ordering a lot of stuff just call them up and ask what is required for a dealer account. My buddy joined both websites years ago. Sometimes chinesepartswholesale is on back order for their stuff. It's best to call them and make sure they have their inventory straight. Once I waited almost 6 months for some 6g sliders.

I think this situation explains why it was only $30

If you still can't get it to fit give me a call. We carry all the OEM parts for the ZNEN built scooters. And our prices are probably better than just about anybody else out there. Just call John Dikov at 203-500-0960

I like this site www.chinesepartswholesale.com What I like about it is the "insane" daily prices on things! 100cc and 80cc BBK for $29.95...Exhausts for $9.95 etc.. They have decent parts and supplies, but the prices are a little to high on some things I noticed. But as far as the daily specials go?.. They are fantastic in my book! High performance variator for $9.95?...Yes please, lol!

Greetings,
twisted: Ya man! They have great prices. If/When/Once you get a dealer account they are so cheap it makes so much "cents" to ride chinese scooters! They really only focus on 4-Stroke parts and I have been a loyal customer to them for years.
