I just wanted to comment that I did the "lowering your scoot" thing to my front forks the other day. It worked great. I dropped it about an inch and a quarter. For anyone that is afraid to do this due to maybe bottoming out, or even having the forks slip since the lip is not there anymore. I assure you, it's safe. I did it and I've been doing stoppies all week with my scooter like it. Was doing them really hard just to test out the grip on the forks. Actually made me get better at the stoppies. Don't know if it was because I was testing them so hard, or the fact that the front is lower. But I'm doing much better stoppies now. The forks haven't slipped at all. Here's a pic showing how much clearance I still have before bottoming out. I weigh 150 lbs, kinda light. But still, all of my weight was on the front doing pretty decent stoppies. BTW - The scoot really looks like 10x better now that the front is lowered.

I thought you might ask.. I didn't want to cause it's really dirty and not completely together. Oh well - Here is it. Lol jk with that one, I know what you meant. Here it is. You can see I have wires hanging down, and my exhaust has burn marks. I drop a little spit on it to see how hot it is, haha. I gotta clean it up a little. Been working all week. Got all day tomorrow to make her look pretty again.
