You should be able to find gear oil for the case. As for the brakes, sounds like you may have an issue if it's hot. press the pistons in, and see if they stay in. Have you done any brake work recently? Have you bled the brakes just to flush out the system? hydraulic brakes dragging sounds like a weird problem, sound like something is not releasing pressure (master cyl?) or the pistons are gummed up and need to be rebuilt. Since ive had the scooter i have done 1500km on it and the only work ive done to it is replace an exaust gasket and new temp sensor. As for the break, i think thats what might be the problem, took it over to my mechanic today and he says its probably the master cyl just by pulling the leaver. Is there any way i can fix that as i dont have money to pay to get it fixed and if i can do it myself i would do it. Edit: I risked not knowing what im doing but i took of the rear break and when i pull the leaver only one cylinder moves, is that right?

drain your gear oil and measure it..maybe your gears are locking up from to low of oil level. Your answer was right on the money. Drained the gear oil and only something like 25ml came out and was all grey looking and smelt badly burnt. dragging problem gone away. As for the rear breaks, i bled the whole system and washed the pads and disk and it seems a lot better. Now i have a new problem LOL

happy to hear your problem is solved... only because its bothering me - "Brakes" not "Breaks"- as in - brake pads - not - sometimes the window breaks
