well.... so much for the paint job. so much for the whole freaking body i was hauling ass through a 180 degree turn, never even let off the throttle i just picked my line and laid the bike over thinking i was just gonna ride the g's outta the turn...right! NOPE! scraped the center stand so hard it levered the rear tire off the ground just as i was hitting the apex and me and the scooter went sliding into the ditch. sooo... the right side of my bike is trashed what to do now..... easy rip the plastics off and turn it into a chopper or a bobber (not quite sure yet). anyways here's what i got so far, so fuel injection and liquid cooling is probably not gonna happen anymore. new plan is to stretch out the back, and either put some ape hangers on it (bobber) or, rake the front and put some drag bars on it (chopper), and then move the tanks, fix the seat, shave all the unnecessary brackets and figure out how im gonna pull off a wire tuck.

That sucks. Guessing you made out OK considering you're already hard at work on the new plans. Should make a pretty sweet custom scoot with those big ass wheels.

started mocking up the stretch this evening so i can figure out what i need to get for the motor and shock mounts and i ran into a question that I'm hoping someone can help me out with. what is this part of the mount for and is it absolutely necessary? what i would like to do is finish stitch welding these plates to the frame and move the whole mount up and here's some more pics.... just because i took em and i like a lot of pics in my build threads

Excellent work. It looks so much like a bike. Someone's gonna think your engine is missing.

what do yall think about the sissy bar? im kinda on the fence about it. on one side, it does kinda need something back there to help hide that ugly rear tie bar...plate. but on the other, its not really in the right spot (it should be coming off the rear axle) and i kinda feel like with the sissy bar there i should give the front a little more rake.
