I figured an easier and cheap way to cap starter and oil pump holes on Minarelli cases. It's easier than fabing blockers out of aluminium and if you have brought a Dremel bits kit you have some for sure... A cap of Dremel polish compound or cutting discs fit perfectly in the starter and oil pump hole. You can add glue or epoxy if you're not safe with this, but you'll need to hammer them gently to fit so they'll not get out that easy. Put your screws back to clog these holes and you're done! For the oil pump, the cap is sightly too large. You can either glue/epoxy the cap there (as I done), sand the outer side a little to make it fit snug or put a simple plate with 2 holes for the screw.

I just removed the gear from the pump shaft and then reinstalled the pump in the hole on my scoots. I don't care if the pump gets filthy cause it aint doin'nuthin'anyway.

I don't have the pump for my case, I keep the good pumps and starters for customers when their pump or starter is worn... and I don't want debris to go in this case section. Also, I don't want my wheel to shoot debris in my CVT. If I have good starter and pump on a case where I don't need them, I prefer keeping them for someone who will use them than letting them there without being used.

Yeah I get it. I've been fixing scooters for about 8 years now and I've only had one Minarelli come through my shop that didn't belong to me. They just aren't very popular here in L.A.

Here it's completely different. I worked on a SR50, 2 times on a Piaggio, 2 times on a pgo, 2 times on a kymco and the rest are only Zuma, but never on a 4T.

The 150cc GY6's are my bread and butter.

These are not subject to case pressure. The starter hole is in the CVT area and the oil pump hole is by the stator and fan.

I liked it that way for better heat displacing but now that you mention it i might make some sort of "filter" for it and try to keep it moving some air.
