I am going to post some pics and how to,s on installing a 21mm Dello clone on a CPI Minarelli powered scooter using the stock cable and components. First run your adjuster all the way making as much slack in the cable as possible. Next take off your old carb and attachments. Sometimes the cable will not slide through this adjuster so you might need to file it down some? You will need the 90 degree elbow from the stock cap so remove it will a light tap from a hammer and punch Now that the 90 is free we will need to install it into the Dello cap. If you simply drill the threads out of the cap the OEM 90 will fit snug. Now, you will need to remove from 5-7mm,s from the adjuster to compensate for the longer throw of the new throttle slide. On this one i went a bit too far with close to 10mm. I was able to make it work but almost ran out of adjustment. I think 5-7mm is plenty. Here is mine in the vise, sitting next to the hacksaw. All cut.. Make sure to de-burr the inside so you dont fray up the cable. You will also need to remove 5-7mm from the threaded part. I had pics of this but it seems i lost some?.. When your done you should be able to slide the cable through and hook it up. Then adjust accordingly. I like to use a mirror to look into the carb and make sure i am getting WOT when the throttle is twisted all the way. Same with idle, gotta make sure the throttle is closed all the way at idle. There is usually a sharp click as the slide hits "home", or the idle screw so you know its closed. This ones good. All done!
