Hello I am new to the forum as of today. I have been checking it out and find this forum to be quite positive, and it sounds like you all have much more experience with 49cc scooters than I do. I purchased a TPGS 811 Peace Sports scooter that looks retro. I did a 72cc bbk and put gears in it that don't make it sound like it will explode at 40mph and am finding it a blast to scoot around on in Michigan. I am looking forward to this forum and look forward to sharing what little bit of knowledge I have with my scooter. My parting words are to, ride safe and if you can't, ride "fast". PeaceRyder Out.

Welcome mi is a great state for scooters $5a year to register no helmet or insurance. If you do decide to insure it the 49 cc doesn't pay the catisstrofic illness fee so it's really cheep. At that I insure mine progressive is the Cheepest I've found
